Extra extra credits scene - "Yes Men".

As far as convert meetings go, normal civilians would have called it excessive. Even some lower agents might have question the lengths that they'd gone to. Secrets within secrets was the unofficial motto of the agency and that was never proving more true then it was right now. A secure phone line. A secret mission. The small number of people as possible kept in the loop. Fury. Hill. May. The Doctor. Even the two agents positioned at the "guest house" had no idea what they were actually hiding.

And that had all lead to now. Coulson had found one the deep little secret that they'd tried so hard to keep. Hill leaned against the desk as she stared out at the city lights. Istanbul was big enough to get lost in, it made it better for a meeting like this. Any communication tended to get lost in all the white noise. It was just hitting 2am, it was a small room in some derelict hotel, for once there were no guards or agents posted anywhere near the meeting.  It wasn't about security, it was about trust. Coulson had been pulling every favour he could to get to Fury. They didn't need to give him any more links. Maria's Glock is on the small table behind her, if she needs it, she'll use it.

All of this work because that last call had bought the issue to a forefront.

Because he was coming for them.

[She slips into the standard posture, neither completely at ease or standing to attention, her hands linked behind her back and her feet planted shoulder-width apart. She did clean the blood off her lip, but it might be coming up a little swollen on one side. Again, it's superficial, nothing that would hinder her performance.

Something about the strange surroundings, or the image of Hill wearing something over her tactical uniform - it prompts her to reply where she could've easily said nothing.

I didn't expect him. I didn't expect you.

[She wouldn't put it past them, or begrudge them, if they'd made her come all this way for an answering machine and a tape with a message. She's difficult to tail, but she's confident that her team could do it if they were motivated. She took every reasonable measure, but it wouldn't be impossible for Coulson to find Hill through her.]

[May has no expectation that she'll be asked about her well-being. She wouldn't take it well. In light of the fact that her opponent knew most of her moves, it's a surprise she wasn't more seriously injured. She's been sparring with Ward every day, sometimes twice a day, for months now.

It was the least of her motivations—she had several, she's not the type of person who can do something for one reason and one reason only—but the very tactical and hardened part of her had slept with Ward so that she'd have something to confess to, if Coulson ever accused her of keeping secrets. A strategic breach of trust, only to reestablish it, stronger for the honesty.

Coulson knows where GH-325 came from. He doesn't know what he is, but he knows what he isn't.

And he's shutting me out - excluding the team, everyone but Skye.

[Which doesn't mean she's been caught. She counters that question before Hill can ask. Her tone stands in, placeholder for rolling her eyes. It's undeniably inconvenienced and impatient, but tolerant and fond as well. Phil's a kind man, trying to do a kind thing. It isn't his fault that it makes her job harder.]

He thinks he's protecting us.
